Flavourful, gluten-free and made with love

Delicious, vibrant, creative and highly nutritious food, carefully crafted over years hosting yoga retreats around the world. Specialising in colourful, gluten-free, dairy-free, wheat-free, free from refined sugar, whole food, vegan and vegetarian menus, all inspired from good parenting and global travel. Dynamic and authentic, Pete is available for private hire for your retreats, events, parties, villa stays, holidays and courses.

‘O.M.G. Some of the best food ever eaten. Ever. So plentiful and such a well-planned, varied menu, with attention paid to even the smallest of details – it was a joy to see the food arrive as well as eat it. I’ve left inspired to try cooking some of these wonderful dishes at home.’
Kimberley – Web Designer, UK

Vegan and vegetarian

Previously a ravenous meat-eater, Peter’s epiphany came via Professor Brian Ford and his book Sensitive Souls; Senses and Communication in Plants, Animals and Microbes. Twenty pages in and it was clear that Pete’s eating habits were going to change. Years later and a consciousness around plant-based food has led to the development of great-tasting, bright, inspiring and joy-inducing menus that have been devoured by happy guests around the world.

‘Peter is stunning in the kitchen and serves up delicious dishes to restaurant standard.’
Josh – Graphic Designer

Nutritious and delicious

Every single ingredient that Pete puts into his food is carefully considered from a nutritional, colour, taste and texture perspective. Getting to know the locals to find the best fig tree on the island, the sweetest organic garden leeks, the best-scented smoked paprika, the crunchiest celery and the juiciest ruby grapefruits.

‘Pete’s cooking is divine.’
Stella – Physiotherapist, Germany

Gluten-free and wheat-free

Wheat and gluten has gotten a little bit out of control in the modern world. Thousands of years ago it was only a tiny part of the human diet, today it’s everywhere. But it’s easy to avoid when you know how. Meals needn’t be weighed down with a reliance on wheat-heavy and glutinous foods.

‘Pete will nourish you with the tastiest food from a carefully thought out menu. Together they have such a natural skill at creating and holding a beautiful, warm and nurturing space for their guests. With lots of attention to detail, it’s the perfect way to recharge. The retreats have been truly transformational in my life.’
Hazel – Counsellor, UK

Free from refined sugar

Great flavours come from fruits, herbs, spices, choice ingredients, skilful preparation and constant tasting and adaption. If a little additional sweetness is needed, Pete uses a spot of maple, jaggery, honey, coconut sugar, a date, a prune or an apricot.

‘Pete provided a culinary feast each day, that often looked too good to eat, but got devoured as it was just too tasty not to enjoy every last spoonful.’
Suzie – Triathlete

Made with love

The most essential ingredient in every moment of every dish. Inspired by The Road Less Travelled, Pete understands that growth can only come from facing up to what needs to be done. Great menus come from considering the audience, the kitchen, the event, and the unique opportunities presented by local food.

‘Homemade granola, overnight soaked oats with apple and baked eggs avocado. Three days of plant-based food inspiration. Even the biggest appetites were satisfied.’
Adam – Cyclist
