Guided Meditations

Daily meditation practice: Agni Sādhana

Hang out in Bali with the ducks, the roosters and me in my pyjamas. This 35 minute sādhana is designed to activate a daily practice of kriya, pranayama and meditation. Includes Uddiyana kriya, Agni Sara, Kappalabhati and Veha Chedda to aid digestion and strengthen the energy body with some closing visualization to guide you into meditation. It’s an Agni practice so ideal for mornings. If you are menstruating or looking for an evening practice then choose the Soma Sādhana below ❤

Daily meditation practice: Soma Sādhana

For when you’re feeling like a softer practice is called for, this is a 30 minute guided meditation that includes Sāma Vritti, Nādi Sodhāna, Uccāra and Brahmari prānayama to soothe, balance and bring you back to yourself. Learning to listen to the whole of the present moment, with the whole of your body.

Guided meditation to cultivate presence

This short, sweet practice is a guide into presence so you can move into deeper relationship with yourself and others. To sweeten your conversations and interactions for more successful communication; and so you can offer yourself your full attention without judgement, criticism or analysis. Being present to whatever is happening inside of you, so you can learn to do the same for others. The practice is around 13 minutes and can be enjoyed on its own or use as a guide into your own meditation and sit for as long as you have time for. Enjoy lovely ones. I see you. I am here.

Daily pranayama and meditation for all levels

If you’re looking for a daily practice to start your day and anchor you into a regular meditation then this is for you. A sequence of pranayama techniques that cut through the noise, clear your head and balance the system to bring you into a state of grounded ease that will carry you through your day. Filmed in the morning at the Paddington Reservoir in Sydney, Australia. Enjoy and feel free to comment or ask any questions and I’ll be happy to come back to you. You can email here or @thematmovement or Facebook.

20 minute guided meditation to soothe you back into presence

This short and sweet meditation is especially useful if you’re new to meditation or looking for a fresh way into your practice. We play with different anchors, such as breath, the body, the senses and the third eye, to call us home when thoughts have carried us away. The more we cultivate this return to presence, the easier it is to watch our thoughts and not get over identified with them. Super helpful if you’ve been in your head a lot and need to create some space inside. Enjoy and get in touch if you have any questions. Much love from us ❤

Guided Yoga Nidra from the Himalayas

IMG_9814

Hello and welcome to yoga nidra. This is a 30 minute guided meditation for deep relaxation. It’s read by Pete here at The Mat Movement from the book Yoga Nidra by Swami Satyananda Saraswati.

Pete read this guided mediation for Collette on the balcony of a wooden hut in Jibhi in Himachal Pradesh, Northern India.  The sounds of distant thunder and rain on the tin roof are real and create an atmosphere you can easily escape to. We hope that you allow yourself a blissful meditation.

Please download the MP3 and store it on your device so that you can take a 30 minute break wherever you are and transport yourself to the steep and magical mountains of India.

Enjoy.

Pete and Collette
