Kiwcumber Smoothie

Not many foods beat a kiwi for vitamin c levels and this one will really wake you up in the morning. Check out the stats for the vitamin c in kiwis at Healthaliscious. Almost twice the vitamin c of oranges.

The more lime you add, the more this one will make you squint with zing. Cucumber and banana sounds like it shouldn’t work but we don’t like the word shouldn’t here at The Mat Movement.
Makes two

You will need:
2 bananas
4 kiwi fruits peeled
juice of half a lime
1/3 cucumber
2/3 basil leaves – optional
