Isn’t it nice sometimes just to pretend that we’re grown up? You don’t have to pretend when you’re swirling a tarragon grapefruit smoothie in a Bordeaux glass – you’ve officially made it.
This bittersweet smoothie has a refined and moreish balance of flavours. The sweet banana base is in a grown up discussion with the bitter grapefruit. The tropical tartness of the grapefruit and the anise-like nose of the fresh tarragon support each other with elegance for a smoothie that will remind you that not only are grapefruits great – but you can be grown up.
Make sure your grapefruits are chilled in the fridge over night because even adults don’t like warm grapefruits.
2 large yellow grapefruits
1 passion fruit
a good grab of fresh tarragon
Blitz and enjoy as a fully grown human with maturity, poise and a smug knowledge that just today – you know how to do stuff.
If you’re interested to take growing up to another level, we have been helped along some way by a book written by M. Scott Peck called The Road Less Travelled: A New Psychology of Love, Traditional Values and Spiritual Growth.
We serve a different smoothie everyday on our retreats.
